HEARTWELLS

Heartwells consist of members: Justin "JT" Tauch (Vox/Guitar), Dave "Moki" Marino (Bass/Vox), Chris "Guinness" Stout (Drums/Vox), Sam "Skwid" Peterson (Guitar/Vox).

Heartwells are a four-piece melodic punk band hailing from Long Beach, CA, and the flagship band of the newly launched punk label, Hey!Fever Records. With a sound that nods to punk’s golden eras, while raging forward with renewed energy, Heartwells deliver a familiar nostalgic sound with a modern take. Their debut full-length, The New Old School (2024), landed at #2 on the Top 50 Punk Albums of the Year. Recorded, produced, and mastered by Paul Miner (Death By Stereo/Thrice/Atreyu) at Buzzbomb Studios, Orange, CA; it marked Heartwells as a serious force in the genre, while having fun. Summer 2025 brought their latest release—OLLIE, a six-track EP that’s equal parts punch, polish and pain. As the first official release on HEY!FEVER RECORDS, it was produced again with Miner and mastered by Chris Hesse (Hoobastank / Bad Cop Bad Cop / NOFX / Get Dead) at The Lighthouse Recording. Persistently on the road, Heartwells have completed tour dates across California, including Los Angeles, Santa Cruz and the SF Bay Area, a rager of a show at Fest 23 in Gainesville, FL, and a European tour courtesy of City Rat Booking DE, slated this November 2025.

Heartwells believe punk is more than music—it’s a movement rooted in connections. Whether playing small shows, ranches, dive bars, or large stages, their mission is clear: carry the punk torch with authenticity, honor the past, ignite new listeners, foster & connect punk rock communities across scenes, cities, and continents.
